Black WRX on 18×10 Hyper Silver RT5s

Owner: Dogshoe on NASIOC
Car: 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR
Wheels: 18×10 Rota RT5 - Hyper Silver (5×100/e30/73)
Tires: 225/40/18
Suspension: BC Racing BR Extreme Drop Coilovers, BC Rear Camber plates, Eibach Camber Bolts F/R

Coming from an already sick setup with the Titanium Chrome SVN-R’s, Dogshoe from NASIOC was a bit iffy at first when he purchased the Hyper Silver RT5’s. After installing the RT5’s on his car, he was surprised at how good the wheels actually looked on his car. These wheels look great on every car that runs them and might even be the next “Rota Grid”.

Throwback Thursday - con10der8’s Bugeye on Flat Black DPT’s

Owner: con10der8 on nasioc
Car: 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: Rota DPT 18×9.5 5×100/5×114.3 +22 73hb Flat Black
Tires: 255/35/18 Bridgestone RE01 RFT
Suspension: Helix DNA Coilovers

Time to bring back one of the best and most aggressive looking Bugeye’s out there. If you are on NASIOC quite often, con10der8 would be a familiar name to you. He’s pretty active on a lot of threads especially the Bugeye thread which he considers his home.

con10der8’s Bugeye is rocking the 18×9.5 +22 DPT’s in Flat Black. He chose to go with 255/35/18 to maintain the car’s functionality. Props to him for running a meaty set up on some low offset wheels!

Tyler’s 2012 WRX on Hyper Black SVN-Rs

Owner: Tyler
Car: 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: 18×10 Rota SVN-R - Hyper Black (5×100/114.3/E30/73)
Tires: 255/35/18 NT555
Suspension: Raceland coilovers

The days when you can’t run aggressive wheels on a daily driver are over. Take a look at Tyler’s WRX and you’ll see. According to him, these wheels compliment the newer “widebody” WRX and have just enough poke to be aggressive and you will still be able to run wide tires for those weekend mountain runs.

Tyler would like to thank his wife Sylvia, who pilots this car most days and for putting up with all the garage time Tyler has in it already!

Dan’s 2004 WRX on Custom Painted 17×9 Torques

Owner: Dan
Car: 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: 17×9 Rota Torque - Custom Painted Spanish Gold(5×100/e30/73)
Tires: 215/45/17
Suspension: BC BR Coilovers

We came across Dan’s car on one of the forums that we frequently visit and we couldn’t help but hit him up for a feature. Instead of going for the usual 18×9.5 set up, Dan picked a set of 17×9 Torques custom painted in Spanish Gold for his WRX. Not only does this set up give his car a better ride quality, it also enables the car to accelerate much quicker. One of Dan’s plans in the future is to run 245/40/17 Bridgestone RE11’s for that meaty set up!

Hummel’s Widebody WRX - Now on Gold Rota T2R’s

Owner: Hummel
Car: 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota T2R - Gold (5×114.3/e38/73)
Tires: 265/35/18 Yokohama Advan A050
Suspension: BC Racing BR Type RA Coilovers
Nasioc Build Thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2261173&highlight=hummelsubaru

It’s Hummel’s second time to get featured on our website and he’s coming back strong! Just in case you missed, here’s his old feature. It looks like Hummel is really busy turning his car into a track monster. Just check out those R compound tires on his Gold Rota T2R’s. Last time we heard, Hummel is planning to run a Voltex widebody kit. As if the Kakumei body wasn’t enough. Can’t wait to see this is all done!

Nick’s PSM Bugeye on White 18×9.5 DPT’s

Owner: Nick(wrxspeed56 on Nasioc)
Car: 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota DPT - White (5×100x114.3/e22/73)
Tires: 255/35/18 Falken 452
Suspension: BC Racing BR Series Coilovers
Other: Subaru OEM lip kit, 04 STI brembos, JDM Grill and Scoop, Stage 2 performance mods, leather interior

If you’ve been spending time on Nasioc lately, it is very likely that you’ve seen this car posted somewhere. Who wouldn’t notice this super clean Bugeye? The OEM lip, the side skirt strakes, the rear spats and diffuser just flow together perfectly. Finish it off with those aggressive White DPT’s, then you have a perfect Bugeye!

We all know that White wheels are a b%$#@ to keep clean but once you get all that brake dust off, it is definitely worth it.

A Part of History - Josh’s STI on Gold Rota T2R’s

Owner: Josh
Car: 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota T2R - Gold (5×114.3/e38/73)
Tire Size: 235/40/18 Federal Tires
Suspension: BC Coilovers

The Subaru blue and gold color combination has been around for quite some time now and most of us have memories of watching the Subaru World Rally Team dominating the World Rally Championship. That memory plays a great role for most people when setting up their Subarus today which is the reason why a lot of people run the blue and gold color combination. If you think it is overplayed, wait until you see Josh’s STI.

rs420’s 02 Subaru WRX Bugeye on 18×10 +30 Rota SVN-R in White

Owner: RS420 on nasioc
Car: 2002 Subaru WRX
Wheels: 18×10 Rota SVN - White (5×100/114.3/e30/73)
Suspension: Coilovers
We don’t get SVN-R’s in very often, but as of right now we have a very limited amount in stock, if you were in the market for a set, consider purchasing now as they will sell out soon! We also have them in stock in Flat Black color, click here.

It’s rare to find a clean bug eye now days, luckily RS420 is one of the few remaining to still have his through all these years. In the photos, he’s running the signature 18×10 +30 Rota SVN-R in white. The wheels are dual drilled with a 73 hub bore, so these fit a large number of cars!

If you happen to be on Facebook, click here to “like” his photo in the Nasioc on Facebook contest!

Tom’s 2010 Subaru STi SE on 18×9.5 Rota Grid Wheels in White

Owner: Tom
Car: 2010 Subaru STi SE
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota Grid - White (5×114.3/e38/73) (5mm spacer on the front)
Tires: Hankook V12 255/35/18
Suspension: BC Racing BR Coilovers

It’s not everyday someone trades in a Mercedes Benz C63 AMG for an STi. Tom believes he has more fun with the STi and there is no doubt about it, just take a look at his mods list below.

Here’s what Tom had to say about the wheels & it’s durability.
“I love the wheels. I have had them for a year and to date I haven’t found a better looking wheel for the gr STi. I daily drive the car every day and track it on both road course and drag strip.

The white really sets off the color of the car and I think anyone with a dark car should consider white wheels! They only need cleaning 1-2 times a week so completely manageable.”

Latest photos of Jonathan’s WRX on 18×9.5 +38 Rota Grid in Hyper Black!

Owner: Jonathan Tuazon
Car: 2006 Subaru WRX
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota Grid - Hyper Black (5×100/e38/56.1)
Tires: 245/40/18 Kumho
Suspension: BC Racing BR Coilovers

If you were ever afraid of doing a similar size setup, the trick is to have a rear fender roll, play with a little camber adjustment, and run a 245/40/19 tire :)
Jonathan isn’t new to the fitment game, as he pulls off the look very well.
