It definitely feels more “truck-like” this high up and with the knobby tires but it handles the mud so much better. The tires did rub a little, front and back, so i trimmed the fender trim and the mudflaps but other than that it fit great. It also has some cheap Chinese Led fang bumper lights that I wrapped in black vinyl and a Smitty built 3/4” D-ring and Subaru tow hook installed in the front. interior just has SubiSpeed paddle shifter extensions, Valentine 1 Radar detector and of course my dashboard Hulu girl.

Car: 2008 Subaru Forester XT Sports
Wheels: Rota G-Force 18×9 +35 - Cosmic Blue
At first, I wasn’t sure what other cars would look good with Cosmic Blue. I know one thing’s for sure, Diamond Grey Metallic looks nice! Subaru only made one batch of these Diamond Grey Metallic beauties for the final year of this particular chassis of Foresters before they started the current and bigger generation. I really miss the XT Sports models with the bad ass front bumpers and STi badged lip and wheels. C’mon Subaru!
We’ve got new colors of the 5×114.3 17×9 +25 offset Rota Grid wheels for slightly aggressive fitment as well as finally offering a Subaru application for 5×100 cars. You may notice one of the colors listed is “Yamaha Black w/ Candy Orange Lip”, I personally call these the “Halloween” color (like the limited edition Nike Dunk sneakers!). If you really want to be daring, due to the 73 hub bore, you could also squeeze these under the fenders of Scion tC’s and 7th gen. Toyota Celicas. Pics of the colors (besides hyper black) are coming soon when they arrive at the photo studio.
Some of you guys might be thinking, “It’s about darn time!” Well, here they are!
Yup, 5×100 and a half inch wider than the previous 17″ models! $800 shipped to your door! So far they’re only available in full royal sports bronze. So, don’t worry about the 17″ Grids going away. They’re here to say….in an 8″ width!
