The Subaru blue and gold color combination has been around for quite some time now and most of us have memories of watching the Subaru World Rally Team dominating the World Rally Championship. That memory plays a great role for most people when setting up their Subarus today which is the reason why a lot of people run the blue and gold color combination. If you think it is overplayed, wait until you see Josh’s STI.

Loren’s WRB Bugeye on 17×9 Gold DPT’s

Owner: Loren
Car: 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
Wheels: 17×9 Rota DPT - Gold (5×100/114.3/e42/73)
Tires: 245/40/17 Hankook Ventus V12
Suspension: Endless Teal Function V6 Coilovers

We’ve been posting a lot of bugeyes on the site lately. The bugeye is definitely a Wheeldude favorite since a lot of us have owned one at some point.

Loren is the proud owner of the car that we’re featuring. He told us that his new wheel set up only required rear fender rolling and a little negative camber. Aside from that, he said that the wheels fit perfectly since he wanted that meaty and functional set up. Loren also chose to go with the classic Blue on Gold theme.

He mentioned that it is pretty cool to get featured on our site and he never thought that his car would be good enough to get something like this. To anyone who wants to be featured on our site, just keep posting pictures of your car and who knows, you might be the next one on the wheeldude.com front page! :) Meanwhile, check out this perfect 2011 WRX on Cosmic Blue G-Force wheels.

Jeremy’s Flush Scion TC on Rota T2R’s

Owner: Jeremy (Dilirious on scionlife)
Car: 05′ Scion TC
Wheels: Rota T2R 18×9.5 +38 Flat Black/White (20mm spacer)
Tire Spec: 235/40/18 Toyo Proxes 4
Suspension: Raceland Coilovers
Scionlife Thread: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3889088#post3889088

First off, we would like to thank Jeremy for driving all the way down from Sac to do this shoot for us. We got a chance to throw a set of the new T2R in Flat Black and White on his extremely clean and flush TC.

Keep in mind that he’s running a +20mm spacer all around bringing it down to a 18×9.5 +18 offset. These will be a moderate fit without the spacers and will just require a rear fender roll with a 235/40/18 tire.
