A huge number of our VW and Audi customers have been requesting for 5×112 Rota Grids for some time now. Well, there’s no need to do that anymore since the 5×112 Rota Grids are coming in on the second week of October! At WheelDude, we always try to have something for everyone. Be sure to pre-order your set by clicking on the product name below since we’re pretty sure that these are going to run out fast. :)

Throwback Thursday - Mark’s Audi on 18×9.5 Rota Grids

Owner: Mark Lambert
Car: 2003 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro
Wheels: 18×9.5 Rota Grid - Yamaha Black (5×114.3/e20/73)
Tires: 215/40/18 Falken 512

5×114.3 wheels on a car with 5×112 bolt pattern? The holes of the wheels were drilled out a bit for a larger diameter and wobble bolts were used to keep the wheels in place. Hub centric rings were also installed to fill the gap between the hub and the center bore. There you have it! Audi/VW guys should wait for updates too since I heard there are plans to release the Grids in 5×112. :)

SKIDMRK - Mark’s Audi on Rota Grids

Owner: Mark Lambert
Car: 2003 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro
Wheels: Yamaha Black Rota Grids 18×9.5 +20 (5mm spacers for the rear)
Tires: 215/40/18 Falken 512

Now here’s something new. Audi on Rotas. Mark was able to fit these 5×114 Rota Grids on a car with a 5×112 bolt pattern. You might be wondering how he did it. The holes of the wheels were drilled out a bit for a larger diameter and wobble bolts were used to keep the wheels in place. Hub centric rings were also installed to fill the gap between the hub and the center bore. Voila! 5×114 wheels on a 5×112 car. How he did it might be questionable to some but there’s no denying that this car is a thing of beauty.
