The Dude loved those customer submitted cars with Rotas so much that they’re worth hanging on his wall at the office. He printed out some of the top Rota featured cars… then he took a photo of it. It’s like that bad Xzibit internet meme, “Sup dawg, I heard you like photos, so we took a photo of a photo so you can have a photograph of your photos.”

Check out this nicely modified STi on aggressive 18×9.5″ DPTs. It’s a +35 offset to give the wheels a lil’ extra poke. With the JDM foglamps, this car is siiiiccckkk.

We have two fine specimens of the GDB chassis in aspen white with aggressively wide gold 18″ wheels. You can say it’s basically like seeing two twins who were birthed hours apart. Each with different personalities, but fairly identical in shape and size. First, you have Daniel Fong’s 2002 WRX on 18×9.5 Rota Grid and Wheeldude’s friend’s (apologies to the owner and we’re having a brain fart remembering your name) 2006 STi on 18×9 Rota G-Force wheels. The 2002-2003 Imprezas were the first of this generation and the 2006-2007 were the last of this generation before Subaru decided to scrap the sedan in it’s recent WRC efforts in favor of a wagon/hatchback. Just like the classic and well loved GC body style before it, this is the last of the dying breed. We will welcome our new GH/GR hatchback overlords.

Da Dude and Mr. Levy of LIC Motorsports woke up at an absurd hour of the morning over Labor Day weekend to snap some wicked shots of LIC’s shop car and Zoeb’s 335i coupe (which had a preview of the LC808’s a few weeks ago). Here’s some pics so you can bask in the allure of the foggy SF Bay Area landscape at Point Reyes and two dope rides. Photography often calls for waking up at absurd hours for these million dollar shots, folks!
