This is probably our first time to see an STI rocking the super aggressive Rota P45R2’s. This wheel style is only available in low offsets which could be the reason why very few STI owners look into it.
Rare as it already is, Josh wanted to be different and put his own touch to his wheels by hand polishing them. He also had to roll and pull the fenders to make the wheels fit under the stock fenders of his STI. After seeing how great his car looks, we can honestly say that all his work was definitely worth it!

It didn’t take long for Kelly and his wife to do just that, and found out that “cars” would be their common ground. Kelly owns the STI on Rota PWR’s while his wife owns the BRZ on Rota MXR’s. We must say that the two cars look great together!

Luke is back for the third time on wheeldude.com. We just can’t get enough of this aggressive STI rocking the 18×10 +30 Flat Black SVN-R’s. It’s great how these wheels do not require a lot of work to fit under the fenders of the newer STI’s.

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you will most definitely notice that Instagram is the “place to be” nowadays. Most of us “car people” are kept up to date on the trendy car stuff all because of this social networking app. I’m sure a lot of you can relate if we say that 90% of our Instagram feed consists of cars, mainly because we follow people who are also into the same hobby as we are. Then there are some car pages that we follow who regularly post the sickest rides out there, one of them is @subaru_vs_mitubishi, which brings us to the owner of the STI on this feature.
Meet Chris, the man behind @subaru_vs_mitsubishi on Instagram, and the proud owner of a 2011 STI rocking the 18×10 Rota RT5’s. The story was simple, Chris bought a used set of G-Forces, loved the look and strength of the wheels and when it was time to buy another set of wheels for his car, he googled “Rota” and he found us. Looking through the pictures on our website, Chris fell in love with the Grids but at the same time wanted something different. It was the perfect timing because the RT5’s were just released back then and as soon as Chris saw it, he was dead set on them.
Chris is the first guy to rock the 18×10 RT5’s on a GR body. Knowing that these wheels look good on any car you put them on, we can foresee that these wheels are going to start a trend just like the Rota Grids did.
One of Chris’ future plans would be to run meatier tires once his current tires run out. 265’s? 275’s? We can’t wait to see those on Chris’s STI!
