After a great day at the autocross, Bob submitted these photos along with a photo from Automotive Digression. Seems like the wheels held up fine and he had a blast, all in a good day’s work!
These are the 18×9.5 +20 offset Rota Grids, made specifically for the Evo 8/9/10 crowd and for the owners wanting a lower offset than +38.

Comments: Wheel weight ~22 lbs.
We made the +20 offset specifically for the EVO owners, this is a very common size to use on these cars. As you can tell, while just being lowered on Tanabe Springs, the owner did not have to roll the fenders. The car looks great as is with a new set of wheels! Simplicity sometimes is all you ever need.
Car: Mitsubishi Evolution X
Wheels: 18×10 Rota DPT - Hyper Silver (5×120x114.3/e25/72.6)
First off, let me state this is the LAST set available in this size configuration. So if you want the DPT in 18×10, seriously consider ordering it while it’s still in stock, as we currently do not have plans on having more anytime soon.
We did a photo shoot of Vishali’s car with Rota DPT’s in two flavors. FYI, these are 5×120 and 5×114.3. So if you have a brother, best friend, girlfriend, wife, pet race car driving dog with either an Evo or a BMW, you can share wheels on two different make of cars!

Hey, remember the car from yesterday? Well, we did a photo shoot of Vishali’s car with Rota DPT’s in two flavors. FYI, these are 5×120 and 5×114.3. So if you have a brother, best friend, girlfriend, wife, pet race car driving dog with either an Evo or a BMW, you can share wheels on two different make of cars!
Last October, our customer Tara acquired this Evo X. Since she wanted to mod it bit by bit, she took it one step at a time. One of the first things she put were the wheels. No doubt it was a good move to put on these Rota Torques first. Full Royal Sports Bronze do really compliment white. Thanks again Tara! Happy modding.
It’s been a tradition here at Wheeldude.com to give mad props to the dopest cars of the year rocking a set of Linea Corse or Rota wheels. Not just any cars with a set of wheels on and a drop, but cars with a good amount of time, effort, and pride put into them. In search of the créme de la créme, we’ve reached out to all the car communities we post on regularly.
WHO: The Wheeldude.com Car of the Year 2010 Photo Contest is open to all cars running Rota Wheels or Linea Corse Wheels.
WHAT: We would like to have a little photo contest as a sign of appreciation for all the interest, business, and exposure this forum has provided us.
If your car is currently sporting Rota/Linea Corse Wheels, just post up a couple of pictures of your car in the respective forum threads. Be sure to include your full name (last name can be abbreviated with the first letter) and the wheel model/color you are running.
WHEN: The deadline for the submission of nominations will be on November 30. After this date, we will pick the top 15 cars from the nominees posted on this thread. A new poll thread will then be created on December 1. The winners will be determined through the votes that you will be casting. Be sure to check out that thread too.
PRIZES: Please visit the sites below as each site has it’s own set of prizes for their respective cars.
The pictures that you will be posting in these threads will be the same pictures that will be displayed in a poll thread for each forum. So, make it count!
So, the folks at Evo Empire were hosting a meet in Livermore (about over an hour southeast of San Francisco). The Dude is usually around those parts since it’s not too far from home for him, so he just so happened to drop in to take a gander at the meet. Here’s some of the pics he took.
