It’s been about 4 years since Mike and the GST crew started building this former daily driver into one of the top up and coming track cars in the country. We, at wheeldude.com, have been supplying them with wheels to make their climb to the top of the award podiums. The folks at 247media.org gave it a proper photo shoot recently to present to you it’s current state. The “L” trim designation stands for “Legendary” in this case, IMO.
Owner: Hsun Chen
Car: Mitsubishi Evolution 9
Wheels: Rota DPT 18×9.5 +35 Color: Flat Black
Tires: Nitto Nt-01 275/35/18
Another addition to our list of sponsored vehicles is this monster Evo. As some may know, it is badged as the “Evo of Doom” owned by Hsun Chen. Well now, it can define “doom” even more, rolling on these aggressive Flat Black 18×9.5 +35 Rota DPT’s. Don’t forget the oh so sticky Nitto Nt-01’s. This beast was built by SCR Performance, together with AST custom suspension setup and a custom tune from TOBZ tuning. The complete package made Hsun the Street modified class champion of the SCCA Solo National Championship autocross competition. Video of the winning runs could be seen at the bottom.
Good luck to this years season Hsun! More hp to the crew.
Terry and crew took 1st place in AWD Street Tire class at the Redline Time Attack event in Jersey. They put together a nice HD video with their race car on Absolute Green Rota Grids (and don’t forget the WHEELDUDE stickers!). BTW, the song in the video is “The One” by the rap supergroup, Slaughterhouse.

A few words from William about his day at the track!
“Wow, what a day today!! After a bunch of delays that nobody could really have prevented, the time attack competition at the LVMS road course has come to a close. I managed to tuck into a 3rd place finish behind some -very- fast Evo drivers as the only Subaru driver in my class. I owe a ton of thanks to my sponsors, Endless USA and Wheeldude.com, for helping me get back on the track after nearly 5 years of being out of competition! Without them, I definitely would not have been on the podium, and as such my history of never finishing off the podium remains untarnished!!”
Good stuff man! Best of luck at the other events!
